A bit about this practice....
As I age, I am focused on healthspan, which means that I want to maintain my health for as long as possible. In this practice we take an accessible approach to maintaining strength, we practice balance, we respect flexibility, we will maximize mobility and tie it all together with lived mindfulness.
By focusing on healthspan we bring the joy back to maintaining physical activity and the opportunities this presents in daily life.
With a degree in gerontology (the science of ageing) and 20 plus years of experience as a yoga, and dance facilitator, I serve-up content that you will savour.
About the online experience:
I never dreamed of teaching to a camera, on Zoom, or posting recorded content to YouTube. It never crossed my mind because I always loved connecting with students, leading classes and sharing the special intimacy and energy that happens in a physical setting. But after the past couple of years working in the virtual space, I feel that I have the hang of this format and that I can continue to develop rewarding content. Plus - I deliver it right to your home!
Clearly this is not Peloton. I don't have a camera crew, a tech team or even well-behaved dogs. This is a small-scale, heavily curated program that I deliver to a small community of amazing humans who I care about. Your interactions with me in and out of class are welcomed and encouraged. I love your requests, questions and feedback.
